Ã,¿Puede alguien decirme si existe algún reproductor multimierda que soporte ficheros avi, mpeg, divx, mov y alguno que otro más?. Tengo un Windows Media que no me descarga codecs, un Divx Player que no emite imagen y solo sonido y un Quicktime más lento que el caballo de los malos. Mi sistema operativo: La reliquia informatica Windows 98 SE.

Joder, MANEL, eres mi ídolo. Ahora mismo descargando el Crystal Player, porque es gratuíto, porque rula con W98 y porque mola el interface.

Pues va a ser que no con el crystal. Me salta el antivirus al ejecutar el exe.  :-(. A ver con el VLC player....

Por eso ZZERO dicen que se recomienda desactivar los antivirus por lo que te ha pasado con el Crytal Player.Ã,  :wink:

PD.:El VCL no te lo recomiendo por lo menos a mi no me gustó

Chuleta ZZERO: Si quieres desactiva el antivirus y vuelve a instalar el programa. Una vez instalado vuelves a activar el antivirus y deberia de salir todo bien. :wink:

Otra cosa: Si tienes de todas formas problemas igual es que te faltan codecs, te recomiendo a tí y a todos los que leaís este post que os descargues el Pack de Codecs Elisoft desde aquí: http://elisoft-codec-pack.softonic.com/free_download.phtml?step=down&id_file=27248&desturl=http%3A%2F%2Fdescargas.entrebits.com%2Fd2%2F5900%2F5839%2F13604%2FCodecPackElisoft140.zip

Es totalmente gratuito, NO ES UN REPRODUCTOR, ES UN CONJUNTO DE PROGRAMAS Y CODECS PARA VER VÍDEOS DESDE REPRODUCTORES HABITUALES TIPO POWER DVD,INTERVIDIO,REPRODUCTOR DE WINDOWS MEDIA.....
Esta versión incluye un programa llamado Gspot, si abrís un vídeo cualquiera con este programa que se incluye en pack de codecs elisoft obtendreís toda la información sobre el vídeo y los codecs que necesita para reproducirse. Cuando vayais a instalarlo si os hace falta tener 2 cosas encuenta:

Esta totalmente en castellano y os lo recomiendo.

Y hablando de Softonic.... de más de un apuro me ha sacado, pero no sé porqué, le tengo una cierta desconfianza.

Gracias por la info, MANU. Bajando el paquetón de codecs. Aún así el VLC Player ha hecho posible lo que hasta hace poco para mí era un lujo: Poder ver un video sinproblema alguno en mi ordenador.

No se como explicarlo pero hay algunos archivos que al copiarse al ordenador mientras se instala un programa si hay un antivirus puede que se de el caso(no siempre) de que el programa tenga algo de ad-adware,spy ware que no son dañinos para nadie pero en tal caso el antivirus lo detecta y en algunos creo que se los carga y esos archivos que contienen ad-adware son necesarios para que el programa se ejecute correctamente.

Eso creo que es la razón por la cual se recomienda desactivar el antivirus pero ya digo que esto no pasa siempre y depende del antivirus. Esto creo que se suele dar en programas que a la hora descargar ya en la página advierte que contienen publicidad sea gratuito o de prueba

This filter is may cause playback problems, so it is NOT recommended to install this filter. Don't install this if you use AviSynth, Windows Media Encoder, or when you transcode files.
Morgan Multimedia Stream Switcher [version 0.9.9] #
Morgan Multimedia Stream Switcher can be used to switch between audio streams in an AVI video file that has multiple audio streams. These types of video files are not very common. Both Media Player Classic and BSplayer have this functionality build-in. This means that you do NOT need this filter if you use one of those players.
This filter is known to cause various playback problems, so it is NOT recommended to install this filter.
DC-DSP Filter [version 1.03]

GSpot is a tool that can tell you exactly which codecs are needed to play a certain video file. This is very helpful when you have troubles playing a video file.
Sherlock [version 2.0]
With this tool you can generate a list of all installed codecs. This list can be saved as a text-file.
VobSubStrip [version 0.11]
With this tool you can strip languages from VobSub subtitle files (.idx and .sub files).
GraphEdit [build 041201]
GraphEdit is a visual tool for building and testing DirectShow filter graphs.
LameDropXPd [version 3.97b1]
This tool can be used to encode MP3 files.
AVI Fixed [version 2.0b1]
This tool can rebuild the index section of .avi files. This can make files with broken frames playable. In some cases it will also solve synchronisation problems and incorrectly displayed movie lengths.
FourCC Changer
The FourCC (Four Character Code) Changer is a program for changing the FourCC of a video file, which is used to identify which codec should be used to decode the file. This tool is for expert users only.
Bitrate Calculator
This can be used to calculate the bitrate to use when encoding a movie.

De momento con todo este paquete y el reproductor que contiene, he visto y oído todo medio multimedia viviente, aunque advertir que algunos codecs comen recursos extremos...
