The Human League - Credo (nuevo disco)

Tras 9 años esperando (desde el fantástico Secrets), llega el nuevo disco: CREDO.

The band's management have given the go-ahead for the following information to be released at this time (you know a couple of these things already):

ALBUM

As you can see from the thread title, the name of the new album is Credo. It is the band's ninth studio album.

It will not be released until next year, and the release date is not yet known.


TOUR

The tour will be called The Night People Tour 2010.

Some new songs from the album will be played on the tour. The advert for the tour will run in Q, Mojo and Uncut magazines next month and they will be in the shops around 28th September.


SINGLES

The first single is called 'Night People.' It will be released before the tour, but again the release date has not yet been set.

There will also be a second single before the album.

Desde aquél increíble "Dare" y su alter ego de maxis "League unlimited orchestra" lo que ha realizado la Human League no me acaba de convencer. Ya veremos lo que nos depara este nuevo disco.

Una cosa más o menos reciente que sí me pareció notable por parte de Philip Oakey fue el hit "LA today" junto con Alex Gold (Human League total):

Este tema tiene uno de los parones más memorables que haya escuchado en tiempos (minuto 2:54).

Te aconsejo que eches un oido al Secrets. A mi personalmente me encanta. Es puro electropop, technopop, robopop, o como quieras llamarlo. De hecho, el único disco que me gusta desde Dare.

Yo seré raro, pero el Dare no me dice gran cosa...  me parece un disco de lo mas plano e insustancial.  :|

Coño Dare es el ejemplo de como deben ser las secuencias y los riffs de sintetizador. Una obra maestra de la composición "vertical" como la llamo yo. Y el resultado son temas de puro pop aparentemente frívolo. Y para rematarlo esa linndrum.............. :roll: :roll:

Y el "League unlimited orchestra" es una obra maestra del "estirado" de temas cortos hasta hacerlos de la duración de un maxi  :-o

Yo tengo mucho interés pero la cosa económica está un poco fastidiada así que creo que voy a tener que esperar a que vengan a España... hay que joderse!!.
